• We open with the first reservation, and close with the last one. We take bookings as early as from 6am and as late as till 11pm. We can open earlier than 6am or stay later than 11pm for additional fee, please email us at bookings@lovestudios.com or call any location with your request.

  • The ceilings are 12 ft.

  • There are parking lots around our New York location for $25-35/day. Some parking garages close their gates for the night at around 6p. Please pay attention to where you park. Meters are $3-6/hr depending on the timing, and most are free after 6p. Please follow the links to check parking options for Manhattan or Brooklyn Locations. And of course Sunday is FREE parking in New York City.

  • Unlike other studios offering only half-day and full-day rates, at Love Studios we understand that not every project calls for that much time, so we offer bookings as short as three hours. The minimum time for booking is only three hours, and every half hour is billed as a full hour.

  • Yes, all of our spaces are private! Every studio has a door (that locks if needed), and we avoid disturbing our shooters during their sessions to give you and your team all of the creative focus that you need.

  • Definitely! Food and snacks are allowed as long as the studio is returned in the original condition.

  • Only water/vapor based smoke and fog machines are allowed in our studios. There will be a penalty of $500 to any customer found using smoke or fog other than water based and will not be allowed back in our studios. This will be strictly enforced. Any other hard to clean materials such as glitter, confetti, powder, oils, wax, requires a refundable deposit. Please reach out via email if you will be using hard to clean materials during your studio time. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of your account.

  • Yes, to protect everyone’s safety the studios and common areas are all monitored by security cameras. As outlined in our agreement, your work is protected and footage will never be shared.

  • Our studios are private/self-service, but if you have any questions our studio manager will be around.

  • Yes! We have central heat and individual air conditioning in our studios.

  • Yes in the hallway, we have clean remodeled bathrooms with hand-washing stations.

  • Our studios in Manhattan is super fun for any type of large social party. It brings a lot of smiles and laughter at the party. Parties can include

  • The base rate is for 10 people on set.

PETS, STUDIOS SERVICES, VIDEO PRODUCTION, EVENTS ETC

  • Yes, you can definitely bring your pet! All you need to do is to sign our pet waiver in advance. Please click here for the form.

  • Of course, we do! We have connection with photographers, videographers, stylists, make-up, and hair stylist. Please send your requirements and budget at bookings@lovestudios.com.

  • Yes, you can! Please email with as much information as possible about your event: including a description of the event, tentative date, time, approximate amount of people, whether there will be food and/or refreshments, alcohol, etc. to bookings@lovestudiosnyc.com and we will reply to you promptly.

    If you book the studio with our production listing for an event, your booking will be cancel, with no refund at all!

  • We can provide a courtesy hold. No hold is guaranteed until payment is received.

  • Yes. The client with the courtesy hold will have 24 hours to respond. Then they must book or release. Should they release, the challenger will be required to book that same day.

  • All bookings can be made with valid debit cards/credit cards or PayPal.

  • All payments must be made in advance via debit/credit card or PayPal.

  • We charge the overtime at one and half times booking rate, so please, be respectful of the community and leave when your time is up.

    If you need overtime during your session, please reach out to us during your session.

  • Typically, there is a 5% discount from Monday-Thursday.

  • 365 days a year.

  • Ummm… that’s a big yes, we have them in spades.

EQUIPMENT

  • Every studio includes 1x Flashpoint AD 600Ws and 2x Flashpoint 400Ws stobes and one Nanlite 150W continuous light, which are already set up on rolling stands with power cords and light modifiers attached! We provide a universal trigger as well. You are more than welcome to bring your own lighting or grip gear. Please contact us for the amperage information for your reserved stage.

  • Set up and wrap up time is included in your booking hours. Time is crucial for all of us! Please factor all of this into your reservation time. The studio simply might be occupied 5 minutes before your reservation, or it may be reserved right after you or might be closed.

  • We have beauty dish, medium octabanks, 7’’ reflectors, parabolic umbrellas, shoot-through umbrellas. They all come at no extracost. You can check the exact studio-specific EQ list HERE. If you need any particular light modifier, please request it while making/confirming your reservation.

  • Of course, we do our best to help troubleshoot during each session! Our staff will help you with the basic settings, although, there is no guarantee that our staff member will have time to explain to you how everything works in detail. We offer private workshops that you can schedule with our team member to teach you how to use studio lights. Please inquire at bookings@lovestudiosnyc.com.

  • Yes, you can! You are more than welcome to bring your own lighting or grip gear.

  • Kindly check our studio specific equipment list. If you need additional equipment, you can add it on for additional charge. Please request it while making/confirming your reservation or simply request it upon arrival or when needed only.

  • Yes, we do! Each color costs $28 for a standard 9ft pull. Please request in advance for the color you want.! Click here to check available colors.

    Colors not in stock can be ordered and delivered for $99+tax/roll.

RESERVATIONS, CANCELATIONS & RESCHEDULING

  • With our easy 24/7 online booking system, you can simply check for availability – with no deposit or card information required on each studio calendar. Simply fill out your request in the form on the booking page. Be sure to include your first and last name, your email, and your phone number. Once you make your reservation, we will send you all of the details.

  • CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

    Cancel booking until 7 days before the event start time and receive a full refund minus 5% of Booking Price. Cancel booking between 7 days and 72 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding 5% Fees) of their Booking Price.

    Booking cancellations submitted less than 72 hours before the event start time are not refundable.

    Reschedule booking until 7 days before the event start time for no extra cost. Reschedule booking between 7 days and 72 hrs before the event start time for 50% of your booking price.

    Rescheduling not permitted 72 hours before the event start time.

    Any booking that has been rescheduled cannot receive any refunds.

  • Yes !! Overtime starts 5 mins after your booking time ends and OVERTIME IS CHARGED AT 1.5 TIMES THE BOOKING RATE.

  • Set up and wrap up time is included in your booking hours. Time is crucial for all of us! Please factor all of this into your reservation time. The studio simply might be occupied 5 minutes before your reservation, or it may be reserved right after you or might be closed.

  • Yes, our rates start from $59/hr, Offering 3hrs -12-hrs or more. Rates for different spaces vary and are listed on our studio page and there is a tab indicating headcount rates.

STUDIO FACILITIES

  • Yes, every studio has a professional Jiffy steamer at no extra cost!

  • Yes, every studio has one clothing rack and you can request extra for additional cost.

  • No, we don’t but we can rent it for you

  • Yes, we do! All of our studios have a professional Hollywood stainless steel makeup station with built in lights, adjustable highchair and vanity mirror.

  • Yes, every studio has a JBL speaker with Bluetooth and auxiliary cord options.

  • Yes, all of the locations have free superfast WiFi! (Over 300Mbps) Log-in information and the password are usually displayed in your studio and send by the confirmation email.

  • Definitely! Food and snacks are allowed as long as the studio is returned in the original condition.

STUDIO ACCESS / NATURAL LIGHT / HELP ON SHOOTS

  • The access to our studios is super simple. Please message us on Instagram (with your booking details) from the lobby and head up to the 22nd or 23rd floor. The studio door will be automatically open 5 minutes before your session.

  • Our Brooklyn space is a 100% self-service studio. The booking confirmation email sent to you will have a link to a detailed access video direction. Kindly watch and confirm because that’s the only way you will able the find our studio. Your code will only work during your reservation time and will expire after your session is up. Please don’t forget to place the keys back to the lockbox when you are done.

  • Depends Whether you prefer softer morning light for your session or the vibrant golden glow of the sunset, the light is always great. We also have a white/silver V-flats available which work great to bounce and balance the light for the perfect shot - regardless of the weather or time of day!

  • Our daylight studio has soft light from morning to afternoon and from 1pm we have tons of direct light that lasts all day into the GOLDEN hours. To control the natural light we have black and white curtains and tons of equipment, so that one can just focus on their creativity to achieve the look and feel one desires.

  • If you give us plenty of notice, then we can recommend assistants to help you. You would pay them separately for their time.

  • Yes we do have three passanger and two freight elevator 24hrs / 365 days. The freight elevator doorway opens up 54”x 84” and the interior of the elevator is 73” x 76” x 100”

  • The vinyl background is painted monthly, if you would like to have it freshly painted before your shoot, please contact us in advance so we can have it painted for your session, there is a $99 fee for this service and can be added on to your session.
